words do not suffice what LIFE is about but here's what i can surmise (it's still incomplete evidence given the there are many, many years ahead):

almost a decade ago, a mentor and friend told me that “the world yields with an open heart”. over the past years, i've lived based on that, delving and journeying into the mystery of life itself. as such, it has given me more than i could ask for. this path has led me far and wide.

with regards to travel, i've found myself in the streets of baguio, colombo, davao, denpasar, kandy, hong kong, san francisco and singapore. asia has been my playground and continue to do so (i've lined up bangkok and thimphu for the year). i love the sea. i've worked as a marine researcher and have dived in the most biologically diverse reefs in the world. i still dive and am wonderfully amazed when i see a pawikan (sea turtle) or sharks. currently, i work in a lakeside outdoor camp where i teach kids and learn from them at the same time. it's been such a joy to work here though i can't really call that work because its really fun!

i've been blessed with an amazing family and wonderful friends. i love them dearly. i've finally grown up and have seen their true nature. i don't limit myself to that though and i enjoy conversations with anyone. talking with strangers in the airport has been the best for me, so far. i give myself to living in the moment, being in the present. there is no other time to live but now. sometimes i don't, which the practice of inner work comes in. i use jesuit contemplation to center myself.

i live my life with courage. its not to eliminate fear in my life but rather, with fear, i expand beyond my own perceived limits, whether it be in loving, sharing or learning. to be a student of life takes awesome courage. i stand for empowering others and have given myself to numerous causes. over the last year, i organized an outdoor camp for underprivileged kids. this year, along with some friends, i have joined an international social business competition and do hope to begin an alternative energy-based community centers in indigenous areas north of manila. (will tell you how this goes).

life has treated me well and continue to do so.
